Editorial: Community drug abuse prevention: a commitment to citizen participation

The new impetus of interest in citizen participation in public affairs could favor the strengthening of the model of community prevention in public policies against drug abuse, particularly at the local level. We are bearing witness to a paradigm that favors the coordinated development of actions in the different settings with socializing aspirations and seeks to avoid contradictions between the initiatives carried out by the different municipal areas directly or indirectly linked to the issue.
